A really tasty summer recipe!

INGREDIANTS

  • 3 round eggplants
  • 300 gr cooked ham
  • stringy cheese
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • garlic
  • olive oil
  • fresh basil

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Slice the aubergines into slices about 1 centimeter thick, then add some salt and wait for them to release the vegetable liquid.
  2. After about 30 minutes, grill them.
  3. For each slice of aubergine, add a piece of cooked ham and cheese, then form rolls (no need to close them with a toothpick).
  4. In a baking dish add oil, garlic, cherry tomatoes cut into wedges and some fresh basil leaves.
  5. Cook the sauce in the oven (at 180 ° C) for about 10 minutes.
  6. After this time, add the rolls prepared previously, sprinkling them with the sauce.
  7. Return to the oven for a few minutes and serve.
