The sandwiches can be made with anything, but if at times you run out of ideas and above all you want to leave them single, without overlapping them, and thus create canapes, here is an idea to make colored ones, maybe on occasion of a children’s party. If you really want to overdo it, you can arrange them on the tray alternating the colors and creating geometric figures, or obtaining, by pressing on the edge of a glass, circles to be transformed into faces of various expressions, with the help of slices of stuffed olives ( for the eyes), strands of carrots (for the hair), pieces of pepper (for the mouth), slices of black olives (for the nose).

  • pack of loaf bread
  • 100 gr cooked ham
  • 200 gr spreadable cheese
  • 120 gr natural tuna
  • 3 yolks
  • 50 gr butter
  • pinch mustard

  1. Cut the cooked ham into cubes, collect it in the glass of the blender and reduce it finely.
  2. Add half of the spreadable cheese and speed again until a homogeneous cream is obtained. Empty the preparation into a bowl.
  3. Wash the glass of the blender, pour the well-drained tuna into it and reduce it to cream. Add the remaining spreadable cheese and mix everything (the tuna can also be simply mashed with a fork and mixed with a few tablespoons of light mayonnaise until a thick cream is obtained). Pour this preparation into a second bowl.
  4. Wash the glass again and pour in the egg yolks, add a hint of mustard and the softened butter and blend until a smooth cream is obtained.
  5. Take the loaf bread and spread half of the slices with the three creams obtained, then cover them with the remaining slices. Or proceed to the creation of the smileys.
