  • kg mussels
  • chopped tomato
  • pezzemolo
  • onion
  • garlic
  • basil
  • lemon
  • chili


  1. Wash the mussels well and try as far as possible to remove the whiskers that come out of the mussel.
  2. Put them washed and cleaned in a high pot and add all the other ingredients, the onion slices, the garlic, the pinch of red pepper, the sprigs of parsley and the pieces of tomato, the lemon and the basil leaves.
  3. Cook over medium heat until all the mussels are open to perfection.
