Introduction:

Paleo diet is a diet often known as various names such as the Stone-Age diet, Cave-man diet or Hunter-gatherer diet. The full abbreviation of the paleo diet is the Paleolithic diet. Paleo diet mostly contains wild plants and animals eaten by the human beings of the Paleolithic era.  As the alternate names of the paleo diet are showing that it is the diet idea belonging to that era of human beings that is known as the stone age of human beings.

The most important thing about the paleo diet is that it includes fruits, fruits oils such as olive oil, coconut oil, and palm oil, eggs, meat either of fish or other animals, vegetables, nuts, and seeds. But the paleo diet doesn’t include dairy products, grain-related foods, legumes, extra sugary foods, and the nutritional products of industry. Paleo diet is supposed to be a healthy alternative to the modern western diet for improving health. Paleo Breakfast Recipes

  1. Instant pot chicken breasts

Timing:

The total time required for this recipe is 50 minutes including 5 minutes of preparation and the 45 minutes of cooking.

Servings:

This recipe of the chicken breast would yield about 8 servings. The servings can increase or decrease by managing the ingredients in that way.

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of dried chives
  • Half teaspoon of the onion powder
  • 8 boneless and skinless chicken breasts
  • Kosher salt as per taste
  • Coarsely ground black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons of the extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cups of the chicken broth (low in sodium)

Directions for the procedure:

  1. Take a small bowl and mix in it all spices and on one side season the chicken breasts with the salt and pepper.
  2. So, now you have to adjust the instant pot to saute setting and heat the oil in it. When the oil is heated, add the chicken breasts into the instant pot. Fry or sear the chicken on both sides for each chicken breast until it turns golden for about 3 minutes on each side.
  3. So, now remove the chicken from the instant pot and after placing it in the plate, sprinkle the already prepared spice mixture on both sides of the chicken.
  4. Now turn off the instant pot and then pour the chicken broth into it. Place an iron tripod stand or a trivet in the instant pot and place the chicken pieces on the top of the trivet. After that tightly lock the lid and cook it on high after setting the pressure for about 5 minutes.
  5. So, when the cycle is complete the chicken is almost cooked.
  6. Enjoy the chicken by placing the chicken broth on the top.
  7. Paleo breakfast stacks

The total time required for this recipe is 40 minutes including 10 minutes of preparation and 30 minutes of cooking.

Ingredients:

  • 6 breakfast sausage patties
  • 2 avocados, mashed or crushed
  • Kosher salt as per taste
  • Ground black pepper as required
  • 6 large eggs
  • Chives, for garnishing purpose
  • Hot sauce for garnishing if desired

Directions for the procedure:

  1. So, first of all, heat the sausages in a non-stick pan according to the instructions on the box.
  2. So, now put the mashed avocado on the cooking sausage and also season it with the salt and pepper.
  3. Then, take a medium skillet and grease it with the cooking spray. Now place the skillet over the medium heat. Also, spray the cooking spray inside the mason jar lids.
  4. So, now put the mason jar lid in the center of the skillet and put an egg after being cracked inside it.
  5. Then, season the egg with salt and pepper and cook it for about 3 minutes. Cook the egg until the egg whites cook. Now remove the lid of the jar and continue cooking it.
  6. So, now place the cooked egg on the cooked sausage patties with the avocado. You can also enjoy it by sprinkling the hot sauce over the top.
