Jungle Juice in Rome is Umberto Calabria’s urban brewery: we let his story be told and we tasted his beers.

Umberto Calabria started making beer when he was a kid. The evictions against the mother were continuing to transform, albeit temporarily, the kitchen into a small home brewery.umberto calabria started brewing beer at a very young age, passing from the experience of the beer firm to his real breweryA law degree, a job in a very different field and a dream: to get serious about brewing beer. A desire that grew after a trip to Belgium and a course with what is now the Union of Beer Taster, an association to which he still belongs but as a teacher. The first step was to move from the pots and stoves at home to a real brewery. They are called beer firms , that is, those companies without a production plant but which make beer according to their own recipe, renting other breweries. The name? Jungle Juice  (via del Mandrione, 109), fluorescent colors and a banana as a symbol.
