Filling of the taco is often garnished with different types of condiments such as salsa, sour cream, lettuce, onion, tomato, and many others. RECIPE

Servings:

This recipe of ground beef tacos will yield about 8 servings but the serving size can be increased or decreased by managing the ingredients in that way.

Timing:

The total timing required for this recipe is just 25 minutes that give you a quick hunger spark in busy schedules. The total time has 10 minutes for preparation and 15 minutes for cooking.

Ingredients:

  • About 3 pounds fillets of the fish of your choice e.g tilapia or haddock
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • For rubbing of fish
  • 2 tablespoons of chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • And 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons of the oregano
  • 2 teaspoons of paprika
  • 1 teaspoon of the onion powder

For tacos

  • 2 limes, halved
  • 2 Avocados, sliced
  • 16 corn or flour tortillas (6 inches each)
  • Toppings for better taste

For making the fish taco sauce

  • 4 tablespoons of the mayonnaise
  • 6 tablespoons of sour cream
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 teaspoon of the garlic powder
  • And 1 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of the sriracha sauce

Directions for the procedure:

  1. So, first of all, preheat the oven up to 400 degrees F.
  2. Take a small bowl separately and add all the fish taco sauce ingredients in that bowl and then mix them well with continuous stirring. Then, keep the bowl on aside.
  3. Now, combine them all rubbing ingredients in another bowl and then rub the fish fillets in that rubbing mixture.
  4. So, now it’s time to cook the fish. Place the rubbed fish fillets on the parchment-lined pan and then spray the olive oil on the rubbed fish fillets.
  5. Then, cook the rubbed fish fillets by baking in the oven. Bake the fish in the oven for about 12 to 15 minutes or until the fish becomes flaky or tender and appears as cooked.
  6. So, heat the cooked tortillas on the skillet and cook them according to the mentioned directions on the package containing the tortillas.
  7. Then, break the baked fish fillets into the large chunks and place them in each tortilla by dividing equally.

Making the salad for tortilla

  1. So, combine in a bowl about 2 cups of the chopped cabbage, chopped 2 white onions, 3 tablespoons of cilantro, ¼ cup of the sour cream and 3 tablespoons of fresh lime juice.
  2. Then, apply this slaw with the fish tortilla and enjoy them with the better and greatest taste.
