HONEY CHESTNUTS WITH LARD

INGREDIANTS

  • 16 browns
  • 16 slices of lard
  • tablespoons honey
  • water

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Score the chestnuts.
  2. Place them in a fairly deep baking dish and cover them with boiling water, then bake them preheated at 200 C ° for 10 minutes.
  3. Once peeled, dissolve the honey in a saucepan of water bringing it to the boil, then add the chestnuts.
  4. Let cool in the syrup itself, drain and roll up a thin slice of lard for each one.
