Just half an hour to prepare and cook this second course of vegetables, great for a quick dinner, it’s a kind of variant of stuffed tomatoes. Only there is not a real filling but a veil of cheese that will brown in the oven.As you will see by reading the ingredients and preparation, it is a recipe elaborated on the spot, having to put together dinner with a few ingredients in the fridge. The doses are for 6 people.
INGREDIANTS
- 6 large tomatoes
- 6 pinches garlic powder
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- to taste fresh grated caciocavallo
- to taste chives powder
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
- Wash the tomatoes, remove their upper part, drain them of their excess water and place them in a pan, previously oiled.
- Sprinkle each tomato with 1 teaspoon of olive oil, then sprinkle them with 1 pinch of garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Grate the caciocavallo cheese, spread it over the tomatoes and bake for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, reduce the chives to powder.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle the grated tomatoes with chives and serve.
