Genoa: the Beer Festival is back at Villa Bombrini

The third edition of Genova Beer Festival 2017 will take place from 20 to 22 October: many breweries and food stands at Villa Bombrini in Cornigliano.

Now everything is ready for the Genoa Beer Festival 2017 , now in its third edition, which will be held again in the eighteenth-century Villa Bombrini in Cornigliano . The event is scheduled for this weekend: Friday 20 , Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 October 2017 , the organization is always organized by the Papille Clandestine Cultural Association. Several novelties of this edition, the most interesting is the increase in the breweries involved, which rise to 16, strengthening the representation of Liguria, the craft beers on tap for tasting have risen to almost 150 , three new entriesalso the 8 food stands offering street food .


Absolute attention to quality also in this third edition of the event, as demonstrated by the craft beers present, reconfirmed the presence of 2016 and some of the news: Altavia (Sassello, SV), a Ligurian farm that has been active for just over a year; Birra Elvo (Graglia, VC) champions of low fermentation; Eastside Brewing (Latina, LT) and Hilltop (Bassano Romano, VT). Another novelty 2017, the presence of the pubs of Liguria: every day there will be space for a publican who will move his counter inside the Villa and will serve his foreign proposals: on Friday it is the turn of Scurreria Beer & Bagel in Genoa, on Saturday at Folkstudioof Arenzano, on Sunday at La Tana del hops in Cavi di Lavagna.


To accompany the beers, a gourmet proposal designed specifically for the event, with the involvement of the best clubs in the city, including: Ai troeggi ; The Genoese ; Kowalski ; Masetto ; Voltalacarta , UVA


Also this year a rich program of events: workshops, tastings and conferences on beer, guided tours of the villa and the children’s laboratory area. Among the most anticipated events of the match laboratories with beer: one of the most interesting will be the one with chocolate and mono-cru origin of Viganotti . On Sunday, however, beer meets signature cuisine, with finger food designed by 5 Genoese chefs: Maurizio Pinto – Voltalacarta; Davide Cannavino ;  Matteo Badaracco – Capo Santa Chiara; Roberto Panizza – The Genoese; Marco Visciola – The Marin.


Always on Sunday, the homebrewers are back with their beers for tasting.
