Florence: 10 deliveries and chef kits to try at home

With the areas decided by the new Dpcm, the restaurateurs of Florence have adapted and offer delivery, take away and kits to try at home.

  1. Ora d’Aria Lab (via dei Georgofili, 11). The starred restaurant of chef Marco Stabile is among those who have decided to try new ways to offer an extra service to customers in this moment of impasse. After lunch was shipwrecked, with the entrance of Tuscany in the orange zone, the takeaway menu remains operational at Ora d’Aria Lab or as Stabile has renamed it from strolling on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 21. Procacci 1885 (via de ‘Tornabuoni, 64 / r). The famous gourmet truffle sandwiches and many other Procacci brand products of excellence arrive directly at home for those who cannot give up the irresistible scent of the king of the woods. With the formula “ Procacci at home. From the kitchen, from the counter, from the cellar ”, the most chic food shop in via de ‘Tornabuoni brings home a menu based on truffles and wines from the local cellar amidst bubbles and the Antinori house labels. Orders from 9am to 5pm and deliveries until 6pm.   3. C. Bio, Ciblèo, Cibrèo . Picchi goes out of its way to face the Covid emergency: the histrionic chef has reorganized the service of his three main activities. Fabio Picchi’s menu at Cibrèo (via dei Macci, 122 / r) directly at home. The specialties of Ciblèo (via del Verrocchio, 5 / r), the oriental Tuscan restaurant at home or in the take-away version with dumpling, gyoza and autumn rolls. The expense of C. Bio (via della Mattonaia, 3 / a): fruit, vegetables, bread, eggs, milk, pasta, meat, oil, wine, sweets, sauces, jams and pickles, honeys and gastronomy and whole dishes menu from 16 to 29 euros per person to be enjoyed at home. For orders to C.   4. The historic Harry’s Bar Firenze (Lungarno Vespucci, 22 / r) offers a delivery menu with the famous taglierini au gratin, chicken bites with curry rice pilaf and mango chutney, the iconic beef tartare with or without eggs, the Milanese with concassè tomato and the Club Sandwich. Home delivery from Monday to Saturday (before 7pm) and Sunday (by 3pm), to be ordered by 12pm the day before delivery (for lobster, you can order that too, the days of notice increase to ten ). Just call 055 2396700, deliveries by taxi.
  5. Il Palagio (Borgo Pinti, 99). The starred restaurant Il Palagio by chef Vito Mollica and the Atrium Bar have a takeaway proposal for those who cannot give up their strong dishes. Every day from the Atrium Bar menu you can choose between appetizers, first courses, main courses, burgers and desserts: appetizers from 18 euros, first from 27, second courses, salads, burgers and sandwiches from 27 and desserts from 13 euros. The order can be collected directly from the Atrium Bar & Lounge (Borgo Pinti 99, Florence), service every day from 4 to 9 pm. The Holy Drinker (via Santo Spirito, 64 / r). A great classic of the Oltrarno is the cuisine of the Santo Bevitore: now the dishes of the Santo arrive directly at home, ready to be assembled in a few minutes and brought to the table. Deliveries from Tuesday to Sunday, from 5.30pm to 7pm.   8. Acqua al 2 (via della Vigna Vecchia, 40 / r). Visitors to the Verdi theater in Florence know the Acqua al 2 restaurant well with its collection of plates autographed by passing VIPs hanging on the walls of the venue, the inevitable fillets with balsamic vinegar or green pepper that have always been appreciated by customers and by characters from the world of theater and entertainment. Acqua al 2 ora proposes the menu with home delivery. Order on 055 284170 or on the Glovo app. Takeaway is also active.
  9. From Burde (via Pistoiese, 154). The delivery version of the Florentine steak (already cooked and to be regenerated) had achieved great success at the first lockdown. Da Burde has therefore decided to include the box on its e-commerce. This time it also relaunches with the “Sunday lunch”, all inclusive with delivery on Saturday afternoon. Among the proposals of the historic trattoria are takeaway dishes and groceries from the restaurant with a take-away or delivery version. Call 055 317206, service active from Monday to Saturday from 9 to 17:30; orders by 1pm and delivery in the afternoon.  
  10.
