From 24 to 27 July Nuoro comes alive for Let’s Talk #NU, a 12-month project to enhance the excellence of the Sardinian territory, starting with wine.

It contains all the winemaking heritage of Sardinia , to be enjoyed in a 12-month long program. This is Let’s Talk #NU , the Nuoro Chamber of Commerce event for the promotion of the Sardinian territory and its excellences,a 12-month long project to promote the excellence of the Sardinian territorywhich combines the B’Nu project with the Vinibuoni d’Italia guide of the Touring Club, at the historic Merano Wine Festival, up to Vinitaly, in a path that is even a year long. It starts right from Sardinia, in Orosei , where from 24 to 27 July there will be the final selections for the 2020 Vinibuoni d’Italia Guide. Here the top wine and spirits experts of the boot will choose – strictly blindly – the finalists who will receive the coveted Golden Crown award. In the following days Orosei will also host the B’NU Preview , a preview of what will happen next autumn on the island. In fact, from 28 to 30 July the commissions will be involved in deciding the winners of the wine competition. Space also for the award of the B’NU d’oro, a journalistic recognition that will be awarded for the best ” communication of the territory and agri-food biodiversity “.

Therefore, on Sunday 28 July, the event will open to the public with the Grand Tasting . From 8 pm, in the court of Sant’Antonio in Orosei, the great tasting of wines from indigenous vines that the Vinibuoni Guide has brought to the final will take place, in an enological journey composed of about 750 labels, among those that have won the Crown or the Golden Star in the guide. The last week of July will always be in Orosei also the opportunity to select the best  Italian spirits  with the first edition of B’Nu Spirits , a national competition dedicated to spirits, bitters and vermouth. A jury, made up of oenologists, sommeliers and journalists from the main publications, will crown the winners of the categories.

The appointment will then continue at the Merano Wine Festival 2019, from 8 to 12 November in the Alpine city. Here the Nuoro Chamber of Commerce has decided to participate with an Open Space located right in front of the main entrance of the Kurhaus, where for 4 days,from sardinia the project will move to merano and verona  from morning to evening, Sardinia will be the protagonist, with its oenological and gastronomic excellence, with focus and insights for the press and enthusiasts. The Merano festival will also be an opportunity to present the new edition of B’WEEK , an event that from 29 November to 1 December will transform Nuoro into a new and long wine and spirits tasting counter, for an exchange and comparison between award-winning companies and public.

The 12 months of the Let’s Talk #NU project will therefore end at the next Vinitaly, 2020 edition . Here a team of 10 journalists will visit the Sardinian manufacturing companies of Cannonau, with the task of then telling the different aspects. The Scala event will also be an opportunity to present the 2020 edition of B’NU.
