What better idea than some nice, crunchy and fragrant Fried Cauliflower Meatballs for a finger food aperitif?

They are easy to prepare, also excellent as an appetizer, for a dinner, especially since they can be eaten both hot and cold . This means that you can prepare them and keep them in the fridge, and then take them out when it suits you most. We strongly advise you to take a look at the recipe and try it in the stove. You will not regret it!

INGREDIANTS

  • For the meatballs
  • 1 cauliflower not too large
  • bunch of friar’s beard
  • garlic
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • 1 egg
  • tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • parsley
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • slices of cooked ham
  • For the breading
  • 1 egg
  • precooked corn flour
  • flour 00

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Clean and sprinkle the cauliflower. Boil it and let it drain.
  2. Clean and boil the friar’s beard, squeeze it and sauté it in a pan with a little garlic, oil and a pinch of salt.
  3. Chop the cauliflower and the friar’s beard.
  4. Mix the chopped vegetables with the egg, the breadcrumbs, the chopped cooked ham and a little parsley.
  5. Form the meatballs.
  6. Pass the meatballs in white flour, beaten egg and corn flour.
  7. Fry until golden brown.
  8. Once ready, Fried Cauliflower Meatballs can also be eaten cold.
