I wanted to insert a buffalo mozzarella in a series of fish appetizers and I came up with this idea, fast and, judging by the empty plates, very popular….


  • 2 buffalo mozzarella
  • 8 very fresh prawns
  • datterini or cherry tomatoes
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • basil leaves
  • white pepper


  1. The prawns, cleaned, can be steamed, placed on the special basket for a few minutes (be careful not to let them become stringy), or served raw.
  2. Cut the mozzarella into cubes which you will place in the center of the plate.
  3. Place the king prawns on which you will grind white pepper to taste. Add around a few tomatoes cut in half, arrange a basil leaf in the center of the prawns.
  4. Dress with a little extra virgin olive oil, with a delicate taste.
