The turkey baked ham is a second inviting dish that promises great satisfaction. Suitable not only for festive menus but also for Sunday lunch, it is a valid alternative to baked chicken or roast veal. It is a second of easy preparation but with a long cooking that does not require special precautions. If not that, during the stay in the oven, sprinkle it from time to time with meat broth to preserve its softness. A long cooking in the oven, in fact, inevitably causes the dryness of the ingredients, which instead, by resorting to this trick you can get around. If you have no idea for the second of your festive menus, the recipe for baked turkey ham may be for you.

Preparation Baked turkey ham

  1. Tie the meat with kitchen string in such a way as to give it the typical roast shape. Take care to fit the sprigs of rosemary under the string.
  2. Massage the meat with the oil, salt and pepper it, then cut it on the sides with a knife.
  3. Transfer it to a baking sheet and add the crushed garlic cloves and sage leaves.
  4. Season again with a little oil and cook in a hot oven at 180 ° C for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, making sure to add some broth from time to time.

Once the turkey ham is cooked, wrap it in aluminum foil and let it cool well before proceeding with the cut.
