ASPARAGUS WITH MONTASIO AND SAN DANIELE
This recipe was suggested by Francesco Zamparo, President of the Association for the Enhancement of White Asparagus of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
- 16 asparagus
- 16 slices of San Daniele raw ham
- 100 gr montasio
- 80 gr butter
- Boil the asparagus in abundant salted water.
- Drain them, dry them well and wrap them in slices of San Daniele ham sprinkling with flakes of Montasio.
- Arrange everything on a serving dish, grate and sprinkle the rest of Montasio, then pour over the melted butter.
