600 wines to taste at Terre di Toscana 2019

On 3 and 4 March 130 winemakers will offer over 600 wines for tasting during Terre di Toscana: the twelfth edition will be held in Lido di Camaiore.

March, the month that announces spring, is the month of Terre di Toscana , which traditionally inaugurates the beautiful season with 130 Tuscan winemakers and their wines .130 Tuscan winemakers and more than 600 labels for tastingThe twelfth edition will be hosted at the Una Hotel Versilia in Lido di Camaiore :  Sunday 3 and Monday 4 March will welcome the largest producers in Tuscany with over 600 precious labels for tasting. In Versilia it will be possible to taste wines belonging to great denominations such as Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Bolgheri, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, and visitors will have the opportunity to discover other illustrious areas of the region such as wines Montecucco, Val di Cornia, Val d’Orcia, Cortona, the hills of Lucca, Pisa and Massa, and the wines of Mugello, Casentino, Versilia and those of the island of Giglio.

Many icons of Tuscan wine present in Terre di Toscana such as Stefano Amerighi, Argentiera, Argiano, Avignonesi, Badia a Coltibuono, Bibbiano, Boscarelli, Fattoria dei Barbi, Caiarossa, Sanlorenzo, Salvioni-La Cerbaiola, Pacenti Franco – Canalicchio, Le Macchiole, Le Potazzine, Le Ragnaie, Lisini, Mastrojanni, Castello di Potentino, San Giusto a Rentennano, Marco Capitoni, Il Marroneto and many others: on Monday, in addition to the vintages on the market, they will also bring for tasting some historical vintages for a pleasant time travel.

The association of Radda winemakers

It will also be an opportunity to taste the wines of the Vignaioli di Radda , the association that brings together 24 producers from Radda in Chianti : among the objectives set, the winemakers have at heart above all the protection, enhancement and collective communication of the excellence of the territory raddese. Behind the counters you will find Sean O’Callaghan from Tenuta di Carleone, Paolo Cianferoni from Caparsa, Alessandro Gallo from Castello di Albola, Federica Mascheroni from Castello di Volpaia, Angela Fronti from Istine (fresh from the Gambelli Award 2019, destined for the best Italian Under 40 winemaker ), Piero Lanza from Poggerino, Michele Braganti from Monteraponi, Martino Manetti from Montevertine and Diego Finocchi from L’Erta di Radda.


As per tradition, within Terre di Toscana there will be Golosizia , edited by the journalist Claudio Mollo. On Monday 4 March, some chefs from the region will be in the kitchen: Lorenzo Stefanini, Stefano Terigi and Benedetto Rulli of the starred restaurant Il Giglio in Lucca, Massimiliano Ciregia of the Osteria del Mare in Castiglione della Pescaia and Francesco D’Agostino of the restaurant La Martinatica di Pietrasanta.
